At 48 inches in length, the grab bar is the longest with its specifications in its diameter category, which is 1-1/4 inches. The grab bar is crafted from type-304 stainless steel in an 18-gauge or 1.2-millimeter thickness. In order to reduce the amount of maintenance needed to keep the grab bar looking clean and free of fingerprints, the grab bar has a satin finish, which reflects less light than polished surfaces. Installation of the grab bar is completed with mounting screws that fit through openings in the mounting flanges, which are heliarc welded to either end of the grab bar.
