Absolutely incredible vintage suit by Alexander McQueen from Fall/Winter 1997, titled It's A Jungle Out There (similar pieces via lapel styling shown here documented on the runway). This unique and beautiful set comes with both the jacket and pants. Black wool crepe, medium-weight, suitable for mid-seasons and nights. The masterfully tailored jacket features structured, puffy shoulders, decorative pocket slits at each side of the front, a single button closure at the waist, and a plunging, deep, rounded lapel. Attached, an extra layer of deep green and black tie-dyed silk stain that buttons in for the option to detach should you feel like doing so. Jacket is fully lined in black acetate. Matching pants boast a zip fly closure at the front, and the most AMAZING sides- the black wool layer has slits that start from the hip/upper thigh and span to the floor, revealing the same deep green and black tie-dyed silk satin. That second layer also features slits, this time beginning from about the knee down, with a single button closure at the bottom of each side- wear it buttoned or unbutton it for an extra flounce while walking. This is a phenomenal ensemble and an exquisite chance to own something created during Lee's lifetime.

Condition: Excellent condition, showing only the most minor/minimal signs of previous use/wear. Minor 3mm x 3mm abrasion above left pocket that is hard to spot while worn since the suit is a dark color. You'll love this beautiful suit!
