Planting your lotus
Plant in a wide, shallow container using loam soil. Add 3 - 4 inches of water above the soil and place in full sun outdoors.
How to fertilize your lotus
Wait until you have aerial leaves growing out of the water to fertilize your lotus plants. We recommend Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs for vigorous growth, best bloom and ease of use. Simply press the tabs into the soil near the roots of your lotus plant. Fertilize your lotus plants June through September, applying the last dose in early September.
