On the bottle, there are directions  for dilution 16:1 or 25:1. for detailed  mixing instructions scroll down. more is not better since you can cause irritation with too strong of mix, and you should always be conditioning to help the acid mantle on the epidermis to protect against bacteria.

🔢 General Mixing Formula

You can adjust for any bottle size with this formula:

(Desired % ÷ 2) × Total Volume = Concentrate to add
(since starting concentrate = 2%)

Example: To make 0.05% in 500 mL → (0.05 ÷ 2) × 500 mL = 12.5 mL concentrate.

✅ Tips

• Always measure concentrate first, then top up with clean water to your total volume.
• Use distilled or boiled-then-cooled water if possible (reduces contamination).
• Clearly label bottles with % strength and “For Animal Use – Do Not Ingest”.
• Prepare fresh solutions regularly (ideally weekly or per dog) 

For Disinfecting Recirculating Bathing system: 

Add 2 tablespoons(1 ounce) per gallon of water, (easy to use a small bucket that you know where the Gallon mark is, pump your 2 tablespoons and let recirc into bucket for 30 sec to couple min. 

*note from Joanne: I use the general guide of 60ml per litre(the 16:1 dilution) and adjust according to how much shampoo i am using, so small dog i will add 30 ml for a 1/2 litre of mixed shampoo. i also add to my conditioner(as that is designed to soak into hair shaft and can sit safely longer for soaking), or add a small amount with water for spot application on toes etc. I have had great success with this product and not having to use yucky vet shampoo.

"stock Concentration" is 2%

"Volume from stock" leave blank. This is where it will tell you how much concentrate to use. (so in photo it says to use 25ml in one litre mixing bottle to get a 20:1 dilution ratio)

"Final concentration" is how strong you want it( see chart for different application volume) 

"Final  solution Volume" is the amount you want mixed up(total final product) for example a 1 litre mixing bottle..
