Hum-Amend MAX Application Instructions
- Use Hum-Amend MAX at a general rate of 5 lb. of product per 1,000 square feet for turf, landscape bedding or in agriculture. Only 1 application per year is necessary. For sandier soils with lower organic matter or Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), 10 lb. of product may be used per 1,000 square feet.
- For crops, apply 1 lb. per 100 square feet of row area (or 150-300 pounds per acre) at the time of planting n conjunction with your normal fertility.
- For potting mixes, incorporate 15-25 lb. of Hum-Amend MAX per cubic yard of potting mix.

Format: Kindle
Another good addition to this publisher's collection. The book is well organized, flows well and is very readable. The main thing I have like about this series is that they don't just cover the "highlights," although they do a good job on those, but how they cover more of the daily lives of the people. I was surprised at exactly how hard the people's lives were by choice, not just men but woman as well. I can't imagine being drafted into the military at age 5 or 6 and staying there until you were thirty. And eating "black soup" a concoction made of pork, pigs' blood, onions, salt and vinegar. To paraphrase a quote, it's no wonder Spartans were prepared to die when all you eat was this soup! I was also surprised by the freedoms including education and land ownership of the woman of Sparta giving the era.....and the sexual freedom they had was more surprising. There is a lot more information of interest. This is a good book and most will enjoy reading it

An Enthralling Overview of the Proud Spartans
Format: Kindle
This is a very good book. It is well researched and extremely well written. It is easy to read and easy to understand. Although this book is just an overview of the Greek city-state of Sparta, it does very well cover Sparta's unique history. Learn about Sparta's rise in military fame and the battles they fought. Learn how all of Sparta trained to become the healthiest and fittest city-state in Greece. Learn about daily life for all the classes of people in Sparta, even the kings and queens. Learn how Sparta became independent and supplied everything the city-state needed.
This book is well worth reading and I highly recommend it. It will be a great book to add to anyone's history shelf.
