Other tents that I looked at that had 2 rooms had 2 side-by-side entrances. Still, very pleased with the tent overall. Did not get to test the water resistance, luckily, but it does seem like a good, sturdy tent that is easy to put up, even with three 7 year old boys running around the camp site.
