Looking for a way to reduce high intake temperatures on your stock or modified WRX? The solution is the Mishimoto direct-fit top-mount intercooler engineered specifically for the 2008--2014 Subaru WRX. The stock top-mount intercooler is prone to head soak and even failure of the stock plastic endtanks above 18psi. Mishimoto engineers spent months designing and testing this new intercooler to ensure optimum performance on both the street and track. This intercooler utilizes durable cast aluminum end tanks TIG-welded to a highly efficient, dense bar-and-plate core. The Mishimoto intercooler has a 3.75" thick core and a total volume of 584 in3. Thanks to this volume and a very dense offset fin pitch, we are able to optimize heat transfer and support vehicles from stock up to 400 whp. This intercooler endured rigorous testing, showing a 12 F temperature drop as well as a +6 whp and +8 wtq bolt-on power increase for our stock test vehicle. Installation is simple, requires no modification to any parts in the engine bay, and can be completed in under 30 minutes. Included with this intercooler are a new turbo-intercooler O-ring gasket, and Mishimoto's silicone throttle-body coupler. These components negate the need to gather supplies for installation, and they ensure years of reliable service. Finally, a product that meets all of its advertised claims!
It seems to me like this product is always out of stock. Of the ones I have received and been able to use. They work as advertised and hold an incredible amount of weight. It is very easy to put them on and off, but once they are latched down, you could not remove them by hand without bending the hooks I would like to have a few more boxes to use in my steel building.

Little pricey, but worth it
Very nice product. Creates a clean look on my fiances night stand rather than having everything all over the place. I like the little compartment with the door, its nice for putting things out of sight. The coin compartment is nice as well. The curve of the bottom makes it easy to get the coins out. I do think its a little pricey for what it is, but i still feel it was worth it to organize the clutter.
