Workshop Description:
This class is perfect for all levels, whether you're just starting out or expanding your current skill set. Students will receive in-depth tutorials on the fundamentals used to create gorgeous letterforms from scratch in a variety of styles. Joanna will share her own creative process – one that she has honed over the years as a professional lettering artist. You'll learn how to sketch out ideas, refine concepts, add depth and details, and incorporate flourishes into your work. This class is all about exploring and having fun and will give you a solid foundation for your lettering journey!
Students will receive:
- Sharpie fine point pen + marker
- Pencil, ruler + sketchbook
- Lettering worksheets
- Lettering guide
- Extra goodies to take home
