This time capsule “of-the-era” piece was originally intended to be a full audio entertainment system for the home, containing an 8 track player, phonograph or turntable for 33/45/78 records, am/fm stereo, a very good internal speaker system and aux outlet. All components are tested and working and most incredibly at the center console a blue and green optical light-up radio dial!
Seated on the original black tulip pedestal base which can be detached from the main saucer shaped hub. Entire hub can also sit on its own round black feet with wheels and brake.
Original markers mark on front of 8 track deck and along the back with input/output instructions. Made in Japan 1973

condition: very good vintage condition with light signs of age and use - some yellowing on right hand side from sun exposure, translucent black ABS plastic top lid has minor surface scratches and lid does not stay up as is very common for original spring to stop working over time - black prop stick provided. All electronic components professionally restored, tested and working. Back light bulbs replaced with LED for longtime use, a new antenna added, and turntable needle replaced. Auto-start function working as is 8-track player and Aux. Speakers sound is excellent for what they are.
