How does it work
KTM790/890 Headlight Errror Eliminator is a device that eliminates HLU error displayed on dashboard in case of use aftermarket headlights instead an original one. It is sending the same messages via CAN bus as the original headlight so the bike can not identify any difference between the original headlight and the aftermarket headlight powered trough this device. Error eliminator fits into the original KTM790/890 headlight socket so it is not needed to do any changes on the motorcycle harness.

Functions
Device provides outputs for low beam, high beam and the parking lamp.
Max allowed current draws from outputs are following:
8 A (ca 105 W) on low beam wire
8 A (ca 105 W) on high beam wire
3 A (ca 40W) on parking light wire
For higher currents it is required to use the relay and draw the power directly from the battery.

Colors of wires between the eliminator and the headlight
Red +12V high beam
Violet +12V passing beam
Yellow +12V parking light
Black GND
All black GND wires are connected together - not depend which one is used for low beam and which
one for high beam lamp.
Installation
1) Connect the eliminator and the lights together using suitable connector.
2) Connect the eliminator to the original headlight socket.
3) Try the proper function and enjoy your new lights without errors.
Max allowed current draw
low beam wire: 8 A (ca 105 W)
high beam wire: 8 A (ca 105 W)
parking light wire: 3 A (ca 40W)

Warranty
Product is covered by 2 years Limited Warranty (from the date of purchase). Limited
Warranty covers any defects in material or manufacturing defects under normal use and
maintenance. We reserve the right not to accept the claim in the case of mechanical
damage that could be related to the defect of the product or if the product was
disassembled by unauthorized service.
This limited warranty also does not cover any problem that is caused by conditions,
malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
During warranty period, we will repair or replace defective product or defective parts. To
obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most
appropriate solution for you.
