The Cross Pole for Uncored Paper or Fabric Backgrounds from Impact is a 9 foot long cross pole meant to hold paper or fabric background rolls that do not have cores. The pole is constructed of lightweight aluminum and comes in two pieces which are easily assembled. The pole is specifically designed to be used with the Varidrive or Manfrotto Expan Drive background rolling systems, but can also be placed across two Varipoles to hang lights or grip equipment. To utilize with the background rolling systems, simply insert the pole into the roll of paper or fabric and insert the expandable cores of the Varidrive or Manfrotto Expan Drive into both ends of the cross pole.
