PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

What makes this product different?
The UQL5521 brings a bold geometric presence with its drum-inspired silhouette and centralized form, offering a contemporary twist that feels both modern and timeless. Unlike many standard ceiling lights, its two-tone pairing of matte black with aged brass delivers an elevated contrast, while the yellow interior shade warms and amplifies light. Meticulous steel construction paired with artisanal finishing creates a refined yet durable fixture, producing a diffused, inviting glow uncommon in similar category pieces.

Why is this product worth the price?
The UQL5521 Alston ceiling light distinguishes itself through its sophisticated blend of contemporary and classic design elements. The aged brass finish and matte black shade create a two-toned, high-end look not typically found in mass-market fixtures. This fixture offers enduring value with its steel construction, ensuring both longevity and a timeless aesthetic. The design, featuring a drum shade with a vibrant yellow interior, provides warm, well-diffused illumination, enhancing any room's ambiance. Its geometric simplicity makes it a versatile choice for a variety of interior styles.

What value does this product offer over similar options?
The UQL5521 upgrades ordinary ceiling fixtures into conversation pieces through its bold aged brass and matte black pairing, where yellow-lined shades cast warmth that budget alternatives can't replicate. COLLECTION DESCRIPTION:

The Alston collection of light fixtures, including the chandelier and ceiling lights, boasts a bold and sophisticated design that blends contemporary and classic elements. The chandelier is suspended from the ceiling by two slender rods connected to a circular, aged brass mount, providing stable and elegant support. The drum-shaped ceiling light, on the other hand, has three aged brass rods extending down from a round canopy, connecting to the central structure of the light. The body of the Alston chandelier features a central ring-like structure with multiple arms extending outwards, crafted in a luxurious aged brass finish. Each arm of the chandelier supports a wide, flat band in a matte black finish. These bands serve as shades for the light bulbs, directing light both upwards and downwards. The interior of each shade is finished in yellow, contrasting beautifully with the black exterior and helping to reflect and amplify the light. The design allows the use of outward-facing lights within the cylindrical shades, ensuring a well-rounded lighting effect that enhances the ambiance of a room without being overly bright or direct. The Alston ceiling light features a stylish and contemporary design with a round, drum-shaped shade. The exterior of the shade is a matte black finish, while the interior is a vibrant yellow, providing a warm and inviting illumination. The fixture is mounted close to the ceiling with a round canopy. The central structure and the interior components are also in aged brass, creating a striking contrast with the black exterior. The light bulbs are housed within the shade, ensuring that the light is evenly diffused. The combination of matte black and aged brass finishes gives the Alston fixtures a modern yet timeless look. The geometric simplicity of the design makes it suitable for a wide range of interior styles, from more traditional to contemporary settings. With its geometric shape and aged brass finish, the Alston collection makes a bold choice over any kitchen island, bar area, or table, offering both functional lighting and a statement piece of decor.

Angels and the Fallen — Breathtaking Start
Format: Kindle
This book was EVERYTHING I expected it to be and more. Leave to R.L. Caulder and M. Sinclair to give us yet another amazing book! Kieran and her guys hooked me from the very beginning and did not let go. Found family is one of my favorite tropes and it was done so well in this book. Couple that along with an FMC trying to find her place in the world and I was practically drooling over this book. The world building, the conflict, the wyverin sidekick — it all was done so well that it felt fresh and real. Each love interest felt real and unique in their own ways. I felt connected to each one and like they were truly different people. I love that so much in a book and these two authors never miss with their love interests. Multi POV, Reverse harem, who did this to you, and a magical world highlighting the angels and the fallen. This book has everything and it does it so well. Big thank you to R.L. Caulder and M. Sinclair for the arc copy! I cannot wait for book 2!

A new take 🤔
Format: Kindle
I’m not going to go into what this book is about — by now you e already read the synopsis and have an idea — but I will give a couple of insights. Definitely a different take on angels and their fall; I like it. This is an interesting start to a new series - YES, this does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared for that. I’m eager for the next book (and hopefully the last in this series — sometimes the author(s) will switch it up depending on how the story flows for them) in this series. I’m hoping that a certain male character redeems himself because he’s a dick that will make the meaning of mixed signals jealous lol. You ever watch that old movie — I think it’s call Mommy Dearest? — yea, let’s switch that up to daddy. That man would make a perfect husband to mommy dearest. I recommend this book because while these authors are well known for their cliffhangers, they are also well known for putting out good stories.

Liked it
Format: Kindle
I liked the worlds and the characters. The prophesy is confusing in that I would think, since all worlds ore on a path to destruction, the angels would want their world to be saved. I am sure there is more evil that will be revealed as the series proceeds. I dislike a prolonged “poor little me” trope and the main character has moved past that, thankfully, and began to show a fierce attitude as the novel progressed. The last portion of the novel had some great action. It’s worth reading, just be patient with a slow start.

Fallen Angels, fae, vampires, oh my!
Format: Kindle
Rating: 4.5 | Spice: 2 (but a good slow-burn) • Main Characters: Huntyr and Wolf • I couldn’t wait to read this book; there was so much hype about it! And there was no doubt why. I fell in love with the characters and the plot itself. This book is mainly plot driven more than friction driven but it’s easy to follow along with. The characters are fun, easily understood. The main setting is at an academy where both the main characters are going through trials and building strength for the final test, The Transcendent. There are fantastic side characters as well. I loved the camaraderie between Huntyr and her friends. But we don’t like Lanson. 😆 We do have some plot twists that come into play throughout the book. Secrets and betrayal to be seen. I did adore Wolf and Huntyr’s relationship. It was a classic slow burn trope. They didn’t hit it off fast, but in time their feelings grew. I loved their banter, so sexy. Wolf is your next book boyfriend; Huntyr is your next vampire assassin independent bad-a*s female. Themes include loyalty, trust, self-discovery, a true slow burn romance. Side note: book ends on a angsty cliffhanger! • Emily, thank you for writing this awesome novel and I cannot wait to devour Book 2, Blood So Brutal! 😍 • Happy reading, my lovelies! xo

“My heart bows to you and you only, Huntress.”
Format: Kindle
3.5 🌟 This book popped up in my KU recommended reading suggestions and the synopsis sounded like what I was in the mood for. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about it and ended up really liking it. I love when this happens. The main characters are likeable and I easily found myself rooting for them. There is a mystery element to each of their backstories that I enjoyed watching unfold and can't wait to get more of. Wolf, in particular, has me fixated. Love him. I found this to be an entertaining, addictive read with a plot that moves along at a good pace. It reads so easily I found myself very reluctant to put it down. Lots of twists and turns and the angst is there. A good set up for the next book to come, for sure. My issues with this book....the dialogue feels a bit juvenile at times and there is a repetitive over use of a particular word phrasing that I found myself giving the ole eye-roll to. There are, without a doubt, some pretty cliche moments that gave me a bit of the cringe. I think this could've certainly 100% benefited from more depth regarding the world building. Perhaps the world building was sacrificed to keep the pacing quick? Just a guess. Also, the lack of consistency of character for the FMC was really evident and so she feels quite illogical at times. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable read that hit the spot well enough for me. That ending certainly has me impatiently pining for book 2!
