Adverse effects: abdominal pain, dyspepsia, dry mouth, mouth ulceration, nausea, weight gain, hypertension, chest pain, malaise, dizziness, restlessness, nervousness, irritability, anxiety, headache, abnormal dreams , proteinuria, glycosuria, pruritus, rash, dry skin; rarely thirst, flatulence, halitosis, salivation, vomiting, gastritis, hypertriglyceridaemia, angina, palpitation, syncope, hot flushes, aggression, impaired memory, restless legs syndrome, paraesthesia, mood changes, priapism, increased libido, prostatitis, polyuria, haematuria, leucopenia, thrombocytopenia, electrolyte disturbances, muscle spasm, arthritis, lacrimation, visual disturbances, nail disorder; also reported galactorrhoea, mouth and tongue oedema
Dosing regimen: Oral, modified release for adult over 55 years: 2 mg once daily 1–2 hours before bedtime for up to 13 weeks.
Patient advice
- This medicine may make you sleepy. If this happens, do not drive or use tools or machines. Do not drink alcohol.
- Take with or just after food, or a meal.
- Immediate release: Take dose immediately before bed.
- Modified release: Take dose 1–2 hours before bed. Swallow this medicine whole, do not crush or chew. However, if you are unable to swallow tablets, or an immediate release effect is desired, the modified release tablet can be crushed and mixed with cold food or drink. Crushing makes this an immediate release preparation and therefore should be taken immediately before bed—discuss with your doctor or pharmacist first.

Been a K&N customer for over 20 years.
I use K&N on all vehicles that I have owned. It has always given extra MPGs and extra HPs. Always easy to install, easy to clean and maintain. if you keep your vehicle as long as I do (my last two vehicles, a 2001 Toyota Sienna lasted 18 years, and 2000 honda civic LX lasted 17 years), this filter pays for itself and more! definitely worth the price. I bought one now for my new Honda Civic EX hatchback which I will also drive until it breaks which could be 2 decades from now - imagine how much I will save on regular air filter purchases and extra mpgs. very well worth the price!

Best Air Filter EVER
I have used these in my cars for years. They improve turbo lag significantly, increase air flow, and just work. What I like best about these, beside the protection they offer the air intake system, is that they truly are a life long product. My last car had one in it for 13 years. With a cleaning every 25K miles as outlines by KN the air filter just continued to work and work.
I recently purchased one for my new Honda CR-V and had it installed at the dealership at 500 miles when I was getting an oil change to flush out the build lube. The mechanic who did the work left me a note that said "great filter, I love these"

Worth it! Love these filters.
I love K & N air filters and always install them in my cars. This eliminated my cars Turbo lag in my 2019 Honda Civic Ex which has a 1.5L Turbo. Acceleration has improved and makes the car louder (I also have dual exhaust) I love how you don't have to change or clean it for 50,000 miles!! I know it's expensive but will last forever! Only issue was it was very difficult to install and a pain but this is more Hondas fault as I could not fully remove the plastic case where this filter goes under the hood even with tools.
