These are precut vinyl decals sized and designed to stick to the top face of the the raised 392 and raised Stripes on the engine covers.
- The stripes and numbers are slightly different sizes on both covers.
- We will provide 2 '392' decals and 2 stripes for each side (you'll have a spare for each).
!!IMPORTANT!! The factory gold paint is very inconsistent on each cover and runs over the edges of each letter and stripe.
The vinyl decals are made to fit on the top, flat surface and do not bend over the edges.
If you still have the factory paint on your covers, it WILL SHOW THROUGH AROUND THE OUTER EDGES
-Each over is painted slightly different, so each installation will have some variation.
Disclaimer: Reflective Concepts is not responsible for your alteration of the engine cover (ie. sanding, refinishing or removing the factory coloring). Note that if you apply our decals and remove them, the gold factory paint on the covers will also peel up! If the gold is already peeling, it may continue to do so under the vinyl and cause bubbles/rippling. We recommend cleaning the covers prior to application with a liquid dish soap and water. Just wiping anything on the factory gold has the potential to remove that finish.
