Charlie McCarthy was the infamous puppet of ventriloquist Edgar Bergen. Charlie was known for his mischievous personality, as well as his top hat, tuxedo, and monocle. The pair was a duo since 1923, but when Charlie and Bergen hit the Broadway stage in 1933, they quickly soared to a new level of fame, becoming a beloved icon in American culture.
The adorable charm features a portrait of Charlie in his top hat and monocle. The hand painted enamel has incredible highlights along the hat, and great details like rosy cheeks, tiny eyelashes, and a little bowtie. An outline of 14k gold frames the portrait like a bezel and makes it pop.
The charm encapsulates the magic of a ventriloquist, and is perfect for someone nostalgic for the wonder and possibility of the Vaudeville era. We think there is something so cool and pure about the imagination ventriloquy evokes, and we love that this charm is a link to a different era. It is a rare piece and hard to find, making this charm extra special.
The charm measures approximately 1/4” x 1/2”, plus an additional 6 x 4 mm bail. It weighs 1.7 grams. Marked on the back as 14k. Circa 1930’s - 1940’s.

Healthy Hair Boost — Still Watching for Growth

I’ve been using this Batana Oil for a little while now, and while I won’t claim any dramatic hair growth (but I started from a clean shave; so you be the judge), I will say my hair definitely feels healthier.
The texture is thick (more like a paste), so a little goes a long way. I usually warm it up in my hands before applying, and it spreads much easier that way. It has a natural, earthy scent.
What I have noticed is:
* My hair feels softer and more moisturized
* Less dryness, especially at the ends
* Overall looks a bit more nourished and stronger
As for hair growth, it’s growing at the same pace I think, but I do feel like my hair is improving in quality, which is a great start.
If you’re looking for a natural product to support healthier hair, this is worth trying. Just be patient and consistent!

I’ve been using this Batana Oil for a little while now, and I’m honestly impressed with the results. The texture is rich but not overly heavy, and it absorbs nicely into my scalp without leaving a greasy buildup. This is an amazing product. It moisturizes your hair and soothes your scalp. I highly recommend this product. It is rich but not too heavy. My hair feels so much softer and it feels so good on the scalp. My hair is shinier and healthier overall. Dr. Sebi Honduras found the right formula when he put this oil paste together.
