Historic Map : Homann Map of The Caspian Sea and Kamchatka (as Yedso) , 1725, Vintage Wall ArtOne of Homann's most interesting and influential maps, this 1725 map depicts the Caspian Sea and the Peninsula of Kamchatka. One of Homann's most interesting and influential maps, this 1725 map depicts the Caspian Sea and the Peninsula of Kamchatka. Essentially two maps in one, Homann here juxtaposes two opposite parts of Asia: the Caspian Sea, which forms part the western border of Asia and Europe, and the Peninsula of Kamchatka, the easternmost known point in continental Asia. While this combination may seem odd to us today, to the 18th century European, reared on the works of Marco Polo and steeped in the legends of wealth associated with the orient, it represented the legendary Silk Route across Asia as well as the eastern and western most claims of the expanding Russian Empire. During this period, both the Caspian Sea and Kamchatka were actively being explored by European powers eager to exploit the riches of Asia. The left hand map, focusing on the Caspian Sea, marks a significant step forward in the mapping of this region, reflecting the 1719 - 1721 survey work of the Russian navy officer Karl van Verden. Verden's work, completed shortly before this map's publication was the most advanced mapping of the Caspian sea to date, offering a new perspective on the region and opening the navigational possibility of the world's largest lake. The right hand map depicts Kamchatka. Though only tentatively explored at this point, Russian forces under Vladimir Alassov took control of the peninsula in 1697. The globe itself is set to Asia with both the Caspian Sea and Kamchatka set recognizably in context. One of the most interesting elements of this cartouche is the small map of Japan being held by a child in the lower right. Though tiny and a seeming minor element, this little map is actually the first of a serious of important representations of Japan in which the Noto Peninsula is turned westward. This cartographic convention did not begin to appear in actual maps until Bellin's 1736 mapping of Japan.

The Fast & the Curious- Potty Drift
Size: 5T-6T, Unit Count: 60
Who knew toddler potty training required both a PhD in fluid dynamics and Jedi mind tricks? These Pull-Ups prove the science part: leak-proof, absorbent, and surprisingly soft. The toddler-psychology part? That’s a battle of wills. Our little one was a die-hard fan of Huggies diapers—too loyal, in fact. We begged, we bribed, we pleaded: “Please, let’s move on!” Resistance was fierce. So we went stealth mode, sneaking Pull-Ups on at night like parents on a covert mission. Credit to mom—she cracked the code and finally got the kid interested in the toilet. Suddenly, the “potty rush” moments became less of a flood and more of a sprint. Diapers were too slow to peel off; Pull-Ups gave our little sprinter the speed boost they needed. They’re soft, rash-free, and practically leak-proof (unlike that other brand we don’t speak of). Pro tip: size up for easier toddler self-removal. The result? A drier, happier kid, less laundry for us, and the toilet finally earning MVP status. If you’re ready for your toddler to graduate from Diaper University, this is the diploma. Bonus: you’ll save money too.

Mom of 3 recommend!
Size: 5T-6T, Unit Count: 14
I'm using these again for the 3rd time and they're great as always. My 3rd is still having some issues at night time with bed wetting, and as they get older the bigger the mess, so these truly hold up to a full bladder. And they don't smell by morning like some diaper brands. I'm usually against pull ups, but these are great for up and down ease of use and that added protection when it comes to potty training. I love the bigger size inclusion for larger children which we struggle with for comfort compared to other brands.

Healthy Sea plant magnesium
I’ve been researching magnesium and ran across the benefits of magnesium from sea plants. Since many people lack the proper amounts of magnesium this type of magnesium seems healthier than magnesium from the earth.
