The Gramicci Mohair Cardigan is for those who understand that sometimes the best layering piece is the one that makes you feel like you accidentally became the most interesting person in a jazz café, even when you're just trying to stay warm while making questionable decisions. This mohair blend yarn brings that super-shaggy texture that's basically wearable luxury with a button-placket that adds just enough structure to keep things civilized while maintaining that slouchy, laid-back energy that says, "I have excellent taste in both textiles and possibly vintage bebop recordings." It's a true slice of laid-back luxury that works whether you're channeling sophisticated café energy or just need something with enough texture and character to make even the most mundane activities feel like they deserve a soundtrack featuring upright bass and contemplative saxophone solos. While other cardigans are busy being either practical or luxurious, this one just quietly delivers both with the kind of shaggy mohair excellence that proves sometimes the best gear is just really good materials arranged in thoughtful ways.

About Gramicci
Since 1982, Gramicci has crafted functional apparel for the outdoors with comfort and movement in mind. As a Stonemaster, founder, Mike Graham, wanted to design flexible rock climbing gear that was required for the new speed and style of the climbing generation of the 1970s. Thus, born out of a garage in the small beach town of Ventura, California was the first Gramicci piece that soon transformed to the popular G-Pants that widely became known for its flexibility and durability. Gramicci’s innovative designs then grew to the likings of rock climbers, to surfers, and skaters, all the way to the streets of Tokyo, and even throughout time by cultural movements. As a brand that focuses on creating long-lasting clothing and uses eco-friendly materials, Gramicci practices sustainable alternatives such as Global Recycle Standard materials and has begun replacing all their performance line materials with responsibly sourced ones. Explore the latest Gramicci clothing including Gramicci shorts and Gramicci shirt styles to experience a unique look and feel that does not compromise your fashion or adventures.

Why Gramicci
i To complement the free spirits of the Stonemasters, Mike Graham wanted to provide them with freedom of movement. To this day, Gramicci follows this ethos for its design and construction in its lifestyle and technical products. Whether you are a rock climber, hiker, or just a gorp-core enthusiast, Gramicci provides versatile products that are functional and fashionable such as their popular G-Short, Gramicci Pant, Tees, and so much more. The brand embraces the great outdoors, from the thick forests and alpine lakes to your backyard.

essential reading for activists and healers alike
Format: Paperback
as a white trauma therapist & somatic practitioner who in my early career worked primarily in Communities of Color, People of Color clients help me realize that I could not support them in healing the root of what they were dealing with if I did not understand the trauma of systemic and intergenerational racism. As an anti-racist educator, after co-facilitating many 2 day trainings and watching most people dissociate the whole time only come back around to repeating courses not remembering most of what we talked about, I was becoming disillusioned with both fields of practice. Resmaa Menakem's book came at just the right time in my journey, and I believe in our movement, to help us bridge the worlds of anti-racism and somatics and carve the path forward to heal our bodies and souls from white supremacy. White folks like myself will be tempted to breeze through this book and teach it to others; We would do well instead to form communities around the practices in here and integrate the deep healing available to us in both the history and somatics Resmaa offers us. This is truly one of our sacred movement texts on the path to Collective Liberation. For healers: This is the tool for healing the racism at the root of our trauma and disembodiment. For activists: This is the tool for healing the internalized racial oppression that busts up our movements. -- kelly germaine strickland, msw, lisw

Beautiful book with great pictures and historic notations
I bought this for my daughter who is a great plane enthusiast and makes regular trips to the Boeing Flight Museum in South Seattle. She visited this museum once and loves this book as a commemoration of that event.
