Each set of devil sticks comes with your choice of hand stick and flower stick base colour - choose from our six bold colours.

 

Sustainable, Hand-Crafted Design

Each set of Devil Sticks is made from 12mm sustainably sourced New Zealand pine dowel. These little devils do their bit for the planet by using recycled inner tubes for the flower ends to produce a well-balanced, user-friendly prop.

Handy Markers

The flower sticks have 3 bright, useful markers (one in the centre and one at each end) to help users easily identify their position on the stick.

Cross-hatched Grip

Our cross-hatched grip design means your sticks won’t slip. The grip provides extra control and minimises slipping – and the frustration that goes with it.

Our Devil Sticks come in one standard size. They’re designed to be simple enough for beginners to learn quickly, yet comfortable for more advanced users.

I won't say that everyone urgently needs one of these. This is helped me up my game. Perhaps not absolutely necessary, but it noticeably reduces canalization and improves extraction. And it appears to have improved not only my espresso, but my pour-overs and my Mokapot (especially the Mokapot!). It's a little fiddley to assemble - there's sets of springs and needles - but once you get it all locked down, its very tight. There's a set of spares - I can't imagine needing them. The tool kinda sits in the weighted base, but it appears to stay put in my cabinet.
