Simpson Strong-Tie DIA62SS Installation Overview
- Drill a hole in the base material using the specified diameter carbide drill bit.
- Blow the hole clean using compressed air.
- Insert the anchor into the hole and tap with a hammer until flush.
- Use the designated drop-in setting tool to drive the expander plug.
- Ensure minimum thread engagement equal to the nominal diameter of the threaded insert.
