HISTORY ASPECTS:
The RMS Queen Mary was one of the most iconic transatlantic liners of the 20th century, built by John Brown & Company in Clydebank, Scotland, and launched in 1934. The ship was designed for the prestigious Cunard Line and was one of the largest and most luxurious ocean liners of her time. Initially, the Queen Mary was known for her speed, elegance, and grandeur, offering luxurious accommodations for passengers crossing the Atlantic between Southampton and New York. Her sleek design and lavish interiors made her a symbol of British luxury and engineering, attracting wealthy passengers and dignitaries from around the world. The Queen Mary held the Blue Riband for the fastest transatlantic crossing from 1936 to 1952, cementing her place in maritime history.
With the outbreak of World War II, the Queen Mary was requisitioned by the British government for war service. She was converted into a troopship, and her luxurious accommodations were transformed to accommodate thousands of soldiers. Dubbed the "Grey Ghost" because of her newly painted grey camouflage, she played a critical role in transporting troops and supplies across the Atlantic during the war. The Queen Mary's large capacity allowed her to carry more than 15,000 troops on a single voyage, and she made many perilous crossings, including transporting soldiers to and from North Africa, the Mediterranean, and the D-Day invasion in Normandy. Despite being a prime target for German submarines, the Queen Mary successfully completed all her missions without a single casualty, thanks to her speed and ability to outrun most threats.
After the war, the Queen Mary returned to civilian service, where she continued to carry passengers across the Atlantic until her retirement in 1967. She was replaced by newer, faster ships but remained a symbol of an era of luxury travel and maritime achievement. After her retirement, the Queen Mary was permanently moored in Long Beach, California, where she became a museum and hotel, offering visitors a glimpse into the glamour of ocean travel in the mid-20th century. Her legacy lives on as a monument to both maritime engineering and her wartime service, where she helped shape the outcome of World War II through her transport of troops and supplies.
This 1:1250 scale model perfectly captures the grandeur and historic significance of this iconic ship. From her sleek lines to her distinguished silhouette, this replica reflects her role both as a luxury liner and a vital warship during World War II. A must-have for maritime collectors and history enthusiasts, this model is a tribute to Queen Mary's legacy as a symbol of both British engineering and wartime resilience.

Works well
Color: Silver
The stainless steel caddy quality is fine, the sticker was easy to install on the inside of my stainless steel sink. I initially used the small movable arm to hang on the hooks, and it did not keep the caddy in place. Anytime it was hit, it fell off or tilted off the hooks. Customer service followed up with me on my purchase, gave me the correct instructions with a picture, and I was able to snap the caddy into the hooks. They were responsive, listened to my concerns and answered my questions, and now it works great. I would recommend this.

It doesn’t take up so much space
Color: Silver
This is perfect for my use. I did have to place the sticker on it to hold it in place. I have a Blanco sink which isn’t smooth.

Negative reviews are misleading it definitely works just fine.
Color: Silver
Noticed the only negative reviews were because the hooks would not fit and was sort of concerned about that, but I figured it might be one of those things where it’s the person’s fault not the product. Sure enough it was. The hook fits, yea you have to push it in there with a slight bit of force, but it definitely does fit. What those people don’t realize is that by design the hooks are like that to keep a firm hold onto the tray itself. I found it funny how mad people were about that when really it’s very very simple to make it work. Nice product sticks well, seems sturdy.

Good product, lousy instructions
Color: Silver, Color: Silver
This is a good product with terrible instructions. I’ve used this adhesive strip before so I know how to install the basket & how to remove the strip. To get a snug fit position one of the basket's vertical wires in the middle of one of the horizontal bars then press down hard until you hear it snap into place, it’s now snug & will not tip over. To remove the adhesive strip I used a putty knife & wiggled it underneath the strip until I had loosened & lifted enough of it to get a good grip & pull the rest off. Mine is installed on a ceramic tile back splash not in the sink so this method did not damage the tile, can't say what it would do to stainless steel. I'm a 72 y/o woman with arthritis, if I can get the adhesive off anyone can.

Works well, but very difficult to remove!
Color: Silver
Perspective: Ive had this caddy for 3 years and it has suited me well. Over time the hooks that hold the caddy in place loosened and the caddy would occasionally fall off the side of the sink wall. Not a huge deal, just a small inconvenience. Over time it started to happen more often because the plastic hooks completely lost their grip so I decided to replace it. Well it literally took me 3 days to get it off of the side of my sink. Using different tools to jimmy it off because the adhesive is sooo strong (which is a good thing, until you are looking to remove it). It took a razor blade and several bouts of goo gone to get the whole thing off as well as the leftover adhesive. The fact that it lasted for 3 years is a testament that it is a good product, but it lost several stars for the drama and pain and suffering it took to remove. I wont be buying another one.
