Seems it could potentially lead to stem damage over time, and when one goes out, your tire, obviously will not hold air (from personal experience). I sent it back and ordered another of the same one I previously purchased which is perfect and want to have a spare...just in case I need to loan one out or whatever. I cannot recommend this since I know there are better, quieter ones.
