Der Jahrgang 2017 war von klimatischen Extremen geprägt: Frühlingsfrost, intensive Hitze und späte Regenfälle, die die Botrytis begünstigten. Die Lese begann früh, am 28. August, und war damit eine der frühesten der letzten fünfzig Jahre.

Dieser Herausforderung wurde durch eine strenge Traubenselektion und einer klaren Vision begegnet: die Reife des Chardonnay voranzutreiben und gleichzeitig das Gleichgewicht beim Pinot Noir zu bewahren. Die von Chardonnay dominierte Assemblage spiegelt eine präzise stilistische Entscheidung wider, die bereits in Jahrgängen wie 1970 und 2005 zu beobachten war.

Seine langsame Verwandlung im Keller erforderte rund neun Jahre Hefelagerung – die Zeit, die der Wein benötigte, um seine Identität voll zu entfalten. Das Ergebnis ist ein Champagner, der auf einer doppelten Spannung zwischen Rundheit und Linearität, Opulenz und Energie aufbaut.


Alles in allem also mehr als etwas überraschend, dass aus dem Jahr der Extreme 2017 trotzdem ein Vintage Release kommt. Es gibt nicht viele Weingüter, die aus dem herausfordernden Jahr 2017 überhaupt einen Vintage erzeugt haben – Chapeau, dass Dom Pi so einen raushaut als so großer Name mit weltweiter Beachtung.

Die Qualität im Glas gibt ihnen recht, einige Kritiker werten ihn sogar besser als den 2015er. Nur die üblichen 5 Gramm Dosage.

Der 2017er ist sehr konzentriert, zeigt eine hohe reduktive Spannkraft, ist aber nicht abweisend. Feiner Duft nach Quitten, Bratapfel, Algen, Toffee und etwas grüner Walnuss. Der Wein entfaltet sich wie Materie in Bewegung, durchzogen von Kontrasten, die sich zu einer kontinuierlichen Schwingung auflösen. Straffer, dichter Mundeintritt mit viel Energie, vorne erstaunlich resch und athletisch, dann schiebt immer mehr von der klassischen Dom Pi-Würze nach. Dazu Noten von Petrichor, Jasmin und kandierten Zitrusschalen, welche in einen dynamischen, pulsierenden Abgang, in dem sich Süße und Frische in ausgewogener Weise abwechseln münden. Auch im Nachhall bleibt er fest, salzig und glänzt mit einem minzigen Frischeempfinden und kreidigem Kick.

Ein Dom Pi mit gewaltigem Potenzial und zarter Exotik, straff, salzig und trotz guter Power eher auf der eleganten und vibrierenden Seite der Dom Perignons. Das ist ein superspannender Release!

Aufgrund der winzigen Menge, wird wahrscheinlich noch 2026 der mengenmäßig viel größere 2018er erscheinen. 2017 ist ein spezieller Typ aus winzigen Mengen, die wahrscheinlich innerhalb weniger Monate ausverkauft sein werden.

Perfect size!
I love a good large hobo bag! This one has a great slouch to it and you can fit a ton in it! I've had everything from my iPad and a makeup bag plus yoga clothes and still had room for a water bottle too! The fabric is gorgeous and although I'm not always keen on logo-prints, I like that the bag's print is so understated and discreet.

Large, non zipping, sturdy, stylish
large cream MK purse I’m giving my thoughts on this purse that I got recently and here is what I liked. Size- This is a large purse. It has one large main compartment that is secured with a gold, snapping clasp. It doesn’t come apart unless you push both sides of this clasp. 1 pocket inside for my phone or whatever I need quick access to. 2 vertical outside pockets with working zipper. The pockets run the height of the purse and are narrow. I can get a skinny water bottle in there. Not Adjustable This comes with a short shoulder strap. The strap is not removable. There are two D-rings (H-ring) on each side that hold the strap so if I want I can add a long strap. Really though, this is not the kind of purse that would look good with a long strap. There is plenty of room to put the purse on your shoulder and it feels very secure. Look and feel It looks and feels like leather to me but it says PU which is not leather. I’m fine with that. It is firm in a sturdy strong way, having structure and can stand up on a table. The material is the kind you can wipe with a damp cloth. This purse is not going to get stained unless it’s something like ink that stains practically everything. Mine has monogram NK but if you don’t look real close, I think it looks a lot like a designer purse with the monogram m and k. Function I tend to change purses a lot so I keep things in smaller bags. For example, I have small bags for makeup, medical etc and they fit neatly in here. There is not a designated place for cards and cash so you’d need a wallet or you could put it in the inside pocket. I use a medium sized wallet. My iPhone 14 with case fits in the inside pocket and hasn’t fallen out yet. The 2 outside zipper pockets are large enough to hold my phone and my wallet, one on each side. I can’t think of anything I’d add or change right now. This is a very nice bag to carry everyday. The holding capacity is similar to the neverfull. I’m happy I got this and can recommend it to you. It’s nice looking, makes good use of space, and for me, was a good deal.

Quality is not there, I am very disappointed!

I am one of those very rare ladies that will wait until her previous purse is on its last leg before I buy a new one. That is when I decided I needed this one. Once I opened the package I noticed a very distinct odor, it was very obviously the purse and it was not a "new" smell it was very off-putting. The purse does not seem very durable as I noticed loose threads throughout the lining of the purse. I was also a little disappointed that this purse is so large but it only had one very large square pocket on the inside. The only reason I gave this more than one star is because of the two very nice pockets on the purse front. I appreciate what they were trying to do, I do not think they were quite up to par on the quality, I would not recommend this item.

Beautifully Branded and Roomy Tote Bag
This bag arrived well packaged. It was enclosed in a plastic sleeve that had a cardboard insert covering 2 sides of the bag. The bag was also inside a cloth type bag that is usually reserved for expensive purses/bags. There was also protective material covering the bag’s handle and clasp. The packaging protected the bag and there were no damage when received. When I removed the bag from its packaging, the “NK” excited and confused me. At first glance, I thought that I had mistakenly received THE designer bag with similar logo branding. There are decorative zippers on the front of the bag which uniquely camouflage 2 roomy front pockets. This was a great idea since it enables me to store items there (keys, coin purse, mints) without having to enter the bag’s main compartment to retrieve them. The closing clasps operate without incident and compliment the look of the bag. The handle allows you to throw it over the shoulder or just carry in your hands. The inside is very roomy, is nicely lined and has a pocket where you can slip items in so they don’t get lost inside the bag. The roominess of the bag reminds me more of a tote bag than a purse. Overall, this is a really nice bag that I am proud to own.
