In Barony, players take on the role of ambitious barons trying to expand their power over the land. Who will outsmart their rivals and become the new ruler?

The game is simple: during your turn, you choose one of six actions to expand your territory and restrict your opponents'. You can recruit knights in cities, move to attack villages and steal resources, build to replace knights with villages or castles, convert villages into cities for victory points, launch an expedition to the edge of the board, or elevate your title by trading in resources—from baron to, ultimately, duke.

Once a player reaches the title of Duke or Duchess, the round is over. Victory points are then tallied based on remaining resources, your rank, and the number of cities built. The player with the most points wins!

This new edition of Barony includes both the Barony: Sorcery expansion and the brand new Heroes mini-expansion, which gives players unique asymmetric powers.

Barony is suitable for 2 to 5 players and takes about 45 to 60 minutes to play.
