Der extraflache Z-S16-50 Automatik Objektivdeckel wurde vom Hersteller JJC für das Sony Objektiv E PZ 16 - 50 mm F3.5 - 5.6 OSS (SELP1650) entwickelt.Er wird in geöffnetem Zustand bei ausgefahrenem Objektiv einfach vor die Linse gesteckt. Beim Einfahren des Objektivs schließt sich der Deckel selbstständig. Vier Blätter schieben sich dabei als Schutz vor Staub, Feuchtigkeit und Kratzern vor die Linse.
Anders als herkömmliche Objektivdeckel kann dieser dauerhaft auf dem Objektiv bleiben und muss zum Fotografieren nicht abgenommen werden. Dadurch wird Verlegen oder Verlieren vermieden. Der stabile Auto-Objektivdeckel besteht aus geriffeltem ABS und verhindert Vignettierung. Er ist sehr flach gearbeitet und besonders leicht. Technische Details:

Arrow is AIRFLOW direction, not UP install direction
Arrow is AIRFLOW direction, not UP direction. So installation direction might mean arrow of your Purolator filter should be down (true for glove box installs) even if arrow on old filter is up (if it was an UP indication). I wish they mentioned this in product listing, on box, or on side of filter like most brands. Luckily, telephone customer service was super responsive. Otherwise, product is correct size, appears sturdily made.

Easy to install and great quality—perfect for my 2018 Civic

I bought this for my 2018 Honda Civic, and it fits perfectly. It only takes a few minutes to install with just a few clips, and the process is simple. I am a woman and do it myself with no issues at all.
The filter feels sturdy and well made. The thickness and overall quality are excellent. I’ve seen people mention “ease of cleaning,” but I don’t clean mine. I just remove, vacuum the area and replace it when needed. That might be a bit much, but it’s affordable and straightforward.
I can’t say exactly how much it improves airflow or fuel mileage, but I consistently get over 40 miles per gallon in economy mode, so it’s clearly performing well. Overall, it’s a great product if you like handling basic car maintenance on your own.
