BESCHREIBUNG
Dieser Teppich kommt aus dem persischen Dorf Yalameh, welches westlich im Iran liegt. Geknüpft werden diese Teppiche von Gashgai-Nomaden nach traditioneller Art. Typisch für diese Teppiche sind die geometrischen Motive, welche mit sternförmigen Mustern oder Tierelementen versehen sind. Das Farbschema besteht oft aus dunkelblau, rot und leichtem grün. Die reine Schafwolle, welche für Schuss und Kette verwendet wird, sorgt dafür dass diese Nomaden-Teppiche strapazierfähig und langlebig sind.
