After an impressive year full of international shows and festivals, Loupe is back with a new album. But this is no ordinary follow-up to their debut "Do You Ever Wonder What Comes Next?" This new album was recorded entirely in one take — with no overdubs, edits, or studio tricks. It’s the musical challenge the band was ready for.

The recordings took place on December 22 and 23 at De Zonzij (Tolhuistuin, Amsterdam), in front of a live audience. Loupe deliberately chose spontaneity, musical precision, and a unique interaction between band and listeners.

Lyrically, the album zooms in on the personal story of singer Nina Ouattara, who grew up between Ivory Coast, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Her lyrics touch on themes like memory, identity, family, and the search for a place between cultures.

The live sessions were enriched by contributions from guest musicians, including Loupe’s longtime producer Arne van Petegem (Styrofoam). The entire performance was recorded by Frans Hagenaars and his mobile studio.

LP comes on black vinyl, and includes a full-colour innersleeve w/ lyrics.
