Über das Material: Baumwolle (kbA)

Die Bekannteste unter den Naturfasern: Die Baumwolle von LANIUS stammt aus kontrolliert biologischem Anbau (kbA) und wird dementsprechend gemäß der Richtlinien des ökologischen Landbaus produziert.

Kontrolliert biologischer Anbau (kbA) verzichtet auf die Nutzung von künstlichem Dünger, Pestiziden und Gentechnik, die in der konventionellen Landwirtschaft zum Einsatz kommen. Stattdessen basiert der Anbau auf Fruchtfolge, tierischen und pflanzlichen Düngemitteln, biologischer Schädlingskontrolle und manuellem Jäten. Bei LANIUS werden zum größten Teil Baumwolle und Leinen aus kontrolliert biologischem Anbau (kbA) genutzt.

Über das Material: TENCEL™ Lyocell

Die Funktionsfaser aus der Natur: Saugfähiger als Baumwolle, sanfter als Seide und kühler als Leinen: TENCEL™ Lyocellfasern sind nachhaltig produzierte, natürliche Fasern mit erstaunlichen Eigenschaften. Lanius verwendet Lyocell aus dem Hause Lenzing, welches in Österreich produziert wird, pur oder als Beimischung zu anderen Fasern. Das Ausgangsmaterial für die Herstellung von TENCEL™ Lyocellfasern ist Holz aus nachhaltiger Forstwirtschaft. Die Faserherstellung selbst ist aufgrund eines geschlossenen Kreislaufes besonders umweltfreundlich.

I'm on a bodyguard reading kick right now, only wlw of course. I read this one for the first time about a year ago and somehow, I didn't leave a review. ( I'm good at hopping from one book to another and forgetting to write one. oopsy) I loved the bodyguard part but as stories go I always hate someone's parent dying. ( too much like real life) I know it's necessary to show why Natalie is so effed up. Rachel wrote a great ending to this story and that is always a plus in my eyes.
