Im Wien der Jahrhundertwende griffen Josef Hoffmann und Koloman Moser in ihren Entwürfen für die Wiener Werkstätten auf den geistigen Gehalt dieser Zeit zurück. In der Folge fanden viele dieser Ideen der Wiener Avantgarde über Bewegungen wie Bauhaus oder De Stijl den Weg in die Massenproduktion und somit in das heutige Designvokabular.In dieser preisreduzierten Sonderausgabe werden mehr als 180 ausgewählte Wiener Silberobjekte aus der Zeit vom Klassizismus bis zur Wiener Werkstätte vorgestellt und mit Architektur- und Designikonen des 20. A nonjudgemental and supportive exploration of the reasons we cry accompanied by imaginative and thoughtful art. Beautiful and informative, the final two pages include scientific information on tears to complement the emotional context of the main part of the story. Suitable for ages 3 to 7.

It's okay to cry
Format: Kindle
This picture book beautifully normalizes the reasons why children (and adults) may cry. It passes no judgment and does not belittle. Rather, some of the many reasons for tears are described; these include anger, sadness and happiness among others. Crying is seen as a normal response to being human. At the end of the book, there is additional information, some of it scientific, about tears. The book is sensitively illustrated with gorgeous pictures that enhance the text. This would be a great title to share with a child you know.

Organic Cotton, Washcloth, and Gentle are Misleading

I purchased this product because I was looking for a stretch washcloth to easily wash sunscreen off my back. All of the references in the descriptions to organic cotton are extremely misleading. The handles may be made of cotton but the “washcloth” is plastic and extremely rough. So washcloth is also misleading. It is stretchy - that is accurate. If you want to buy this product, don’t envision a typical washcloth that is bigger with handles because you will be disappointed as I was. The natural fiber scrub pads I bought to scrub my dishes are softer than these stretchy “washcloths”. And I didn’t read the fine print that it cannot be returned so now I am out $30.
