Das Weingut Marjan Simčič, das als eines der wichtigsten Weingüter Sloweniens gilt, liegt in der Weinregion Brda und hat auch Weinberge in Italien. In dieser herrlichen Hügellandschaft genießen die Reben dank einzigartiger Böden, hervorragender Lage und mediterranem Klima besonders günstige pedoklimatische Bedingungen für die Erzeugung von Weinen hervorragender Qualität. Die Trauben für den Ribolla Gialla werden sorgfältig ausgewählt und von Hand in ausgewählten Weinbergen geerntet, die auf Mergelböden in einer Höhe von etwa 200-250 Metern liegen und ein Alter von etwa 50 Jahren haben. Nach einer spontanen Gärung mit einer 6-tägigen Mazeration auf den Schalen reift der Wein in Fässern und Eichenholzfässern über einen Zeitraum von insgesamt etwa 2 Jahren. Ribolla Gialla Cru Selection ist ein Wein mit einer klaren und brillanten Farbe mit strohgelben Tönen und goldenen Reflexen. Sein aromatisches Profil ist breit gefächert und komplex mit frischen Noten von reifen Zitrusfrüchten, kandierten Orangenschalen, Trockenfrüchten, orientalischen Gewürzen und Teeblättern. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Wein weich und gut strukturiert, mit einer angenehmen mineralischen Ader und einer anhaltenden Saftigkeit. Er ist frisch und ausgewogen und hat einen langen und anhaltenden Abgang. Er ist ein hervorragender Ausdruck des Ribolla Gialla, der gut zu Thunfisch und weißem Fleisch passt.Shipping Notes

Fabulous Product!

This wine opener is fabulous! Foil cutter is sharp and works well. Easily removes the cork, then releases the cork from the corkscrew with a touch of a button. Also seals the wine which I have stored on its side in my wine refrigerator without any leaks. Charges quickly and I have opened many bottles of wine without needing to recharge it. Have had this item for a few months and if it continues to work this well, I will be amazed and very satisfied. Very reasonably priced as compared with similar products that I considered. Most of the other products cost more and did not do all of the functions that the Circle Joy does.

Vendor support is excellent

UPDATE 2: The vendor proactively reached out to me and sent me a replacement. The replacement works well so I’ve given them 5 Stars.
UPDATE: It really doesn’t ever go in straight so every cork is at risk for breaking off. I lowered rating to two. It ultimately works about 85% of the time.
Meh. Works most of the time, but has issues. It wrecks corks much more often than the Brookstone one we had before. It seems to twist in sideways so that it runs along the glass of the bottle neck instead of straight down. This causes it to destroy the corks fairly frequently… and on occasion it destroys it so much that you can’t get the cork out at all.
Pros:
Quiet
Has the bottle sealers and suction.
Recharges on base.
Cons:
Damages corks
Sometimes destroys corks to point of not being able to extract them.
Goes in crooked.
