Als eine der ältesten Baumarten der Welt, steht die Eiche als Symbol für Stärke und Beständigkeit. Das gilt auch für die BORDA-Produkte aus reiner Eiche mit sorgfältig geschliffenen Oberflächen und eingebranntem blomus-Logo. Jede Maserung ist einzigartig, jedes Produkt ein Unikat ungekünstelter Natürlichkeit.
Für den ständigen Kontakt mit Lebensmitteln ist ein Ölen des Holzes unerlässlich. Hierzu eignen sich z. B. Sonnen-, Raps, Oliven- oder Walnussöle. Nach Gebrauch die BORDA-Produkte von beiden Seiten feucht abwischen, abtrocknen und an der Luft weiter trocknen lassen.
