  • Die Thermica Control ist eine zuverlässige Heizmatte inklusive eines digitalen Temperaturreglers mit Temperatursensor für Terrarien. Mit der innovativen und digital geregelten Heizmatte kann die gewünschte Temperatur, welche durch die Heizmatte erreicht werden soll, direkt am enthaltenen Controller eingestellt werden. Der Einstellbereich der Thermica Control Heizmatte beträgt 20 – 50° C. Die Temperatursteuerung ist dabei in 1° C Schritten möglich. Das Display verfügt über beleuchtete Ziffern und einer LED- Aktivitätsanzeige. Eine Memory Funktion schützt vor Datenverlust bei Stromausfall. Ausgestattet mit einem Smart-Chip, welcher eine Überhitzung verhindert (max. 50° C), kann eine stabile Temperaturregelung entsprochen werden. Die Thermica Control Heizmatte ist für vielseitige Anwendungen geeignet in denen eine konstante Temperatur erforderlich ist. Die Heizmatte kann sowohl für Terrarien, Paludarien aber auch in Gewächshäusern oder Volieren zum Einsatz gebracht werden.

This version doesn’t work
I used these 2 nights in a row. I was hoping Oracoat found a solution to the problem people like me have with the regular Xylimelts: irritation of gums. As others have noted the “sensitive” version doesn’t melt and the goo that remains can be difficult to remove. I didn’t have too much trouble after the first night. However, the second day after use, it was so hard to get the remains out, I wound up with a very sore spot from digging it out. I will toss the rest. It’s too bad this effort fizzled. I hope Oracoat will find a solution For sensitive mouths. In the b meantime, I will use the original for a few nights and then stop before repeating. The idea behind the original product is fantastic. Unfortunately this attempt to make it usable for people with sensitive mouths hasn’t worked. Please try again.

Recently I discovered this new version which was purported to be made without the offending ingredients. They don't work quite as well, as they don't completely dissolve, but so far haven't caused any irritation. My mouth isn't completely parched as it was without any product, so it is definitely better than nothing. There is a gel-like residue in the morning that needs to be scraped off the teeth. I think Oracoat has some more R & D to do.
