Geschichte: Das Unternehmen Gebrüder Cossack wurde 1848 als Metallverarbeitungsbetrieb in Neheim-Hüsten gegründet . Deutschland von Egon, Friedrich und Theodor Cossack. Anfangs stellten sie liturgische Gegenstände und Kreuze aus Messing her, außerdem stellten sie Petroleumlampen her. Später stieg das Unternehmen in die Produktion elektrischer Lampen ein. Cossack ist die älteste Neheimer Lampenfabrik. 

Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg verfolgte Cossack eine moderne Richtung . Ein Bestseller war Kupferbeleuchtung für Restaurants. Das Unternehmen wurde im Jahr 2010 für bankrott erklärt 1984.
