Ziel ist es, gemeinsam herauszufinden, welche Spur zu welchem Tier gehört und diese vor Einbruch der Nacht korrekt zuzuordnen. Dabei werden logisches Denken, Konzentration und das Verständnis der heimischen Natur spielerisch geschult. Eine besondere Spielmechanik ist die Zeitdrehscheibe, die für eine zusätzliche Herausforderung sorgt. Das Spielmaterial besteht aus stabiler Pappe und ist für den Einsatz bei einem Spieleabend bestens geeignet, um Wissen über Wald und Natur zu vermitteln.

Das Gesellschaftsspiel eignet sich ideal für Kinder, die Lust auf ein kurzweiliges Brett- oder Kartenspiel haben, und bietet verschiedene Variationsregeln zur Erweiterung des Spiels.
