Das PA12 CF FLEX ist im Vergleich zum Standard PA12 CF etwas flexibler und zäher.
NYLON 12 (PA12) ist ein Polyamide und zeichnet sich durch seine hohe Festigkeit und Zähigkeit aus. Aufgrund seiner positiven Eigenschaften wird es häufig zur Fertigung mechanischer Bauteile verwendet. Der Kohlefaseranteil erhöht bei dieser Variante zusätzlich die Härte/Festigkeit des gedruckten Bauteiles und verringert ein ungewolltes "Warping" (Verziehen des Bauteiles). Die Besonderheit von PA12 ist die besonders niedrige Feuchtigkeitsaufnahme. Auch ein Druck ohne eine vorherige Trocknung des Filamentes ist möglich!

Die Eigenschaften von NYLON (PA12)
- sehr hohe Elastizität
- geringe Wasseraufnahme aus der Umgebung
- hohe Zähigkeit sowie Festigkeit
- hohe Abriebfestigkeit
- hohe Layerhaftung
- hohe Wärmeformbeständigkeit bis 140°C
- achte beim Drucken mit NYLON auf eine gute Belüftung, da die entstehenden Dämpf beim Drucken gesundheitsschädlich sind
- ein all Metal Heatbreak, besser noch ein hier im Shop erhältliches TITAN Heatbreak, wird empfohlen
Wie wird NYLON am besten gedruckt?
- Ein geschlossener Bauraum (Gehäuse) wird empfohlen, ist jedoch nicht zwingend notwendig, da die Fasern im Filament dem Verzug stark entgegenwirken
- Durch die Kohlefaseranteile wird eine Düse aus verschleißfestem Material benötigt (PRIZZLE, gehärtete / RUBY / Edelstahl Düse)
- Die Bauteilkühlung sollte wenn möglich deaktiviert, maximal jedoch auf 30% für kleine, filigrane Bauteile eingestellt werden (Druckerabhängig)
- Druckbetthaftung: Die besten Ergebnisse erziehst Du mit der PRINPLATE PRO / EXTREME mit folgenden Einstellungen:
- Druckbett gelevelt mit einer 0,05mm Einstellfolie
- Höhe erster Layer = halber Düsendurchmesser
- Linienbreite erster Layer = 100%
- Druckgeschwindigkeit erster Layer = 15mm/s
- Druckbetttemperatur = 90°C dauerhaft
- Minimaler Düsendurchmesser = 0,4mm
Die Druckbetthaftung sowie der erste Layer sind für einen erfolgreichen Druck mit NYLON (PA) essenziell. Drucke den ersten Layer lieber etwas zu dicht am Druckbett (leicht "gequetscht") um das NYLON in die Poren der PRINPLATE zu drücken.

No bleed through of t-shirt color beneath. Very hard to achieve, but Alimens does it.

At the price point of this shirt, i'm super impressed with the overall quality, fit and appearance. I have had short sleeve white from others in the past and what sets this apart from them is this ... this needs no t-shirt underneath. if you did choose to add a t-shirt, the t-shirt color will not bleed through the white optics. I am daily shirt and tie guy, who loves button downs. I own many VH brand shirts and this Oxford is sized exactly as a VH. Will be ordering more!!

Good fit, crisp, washed well.

This is the perfect short-sleeved version of their dressier long-sleeve Oxford button-down. Fits my newly downsized, 160-pound, 5'9" shape just right. (At 170, this might be too snug, if I put the full extra ten in my belly, which is where it always seems to go.) For appearance's sake, I prefer the long-sleeve and just roll it up on a hot day. But, sometimes, you really want the airiness and height of a genuine short-sleeve shirt. If you're OCD about a consistent look (which, sometimes, I am), and you like their long-sleeve version, having a few of these in your closet makes life easy on a hot day.

Great shirt but won’t work if your slim cut.

Fabric is nice and looks of good quality, just is a bit wide in the torso, so it doesn’t fit my slim fit husband. If you wear slim fit dress shirts I would likely say this shirt will be boxy on you in the waste. Good price if it works for you and comes in so many color options!

Can't say enough good things about these shirts. I have purchased several colors of these shirts and they fit wonderfully. I have a belly so button down shirts that actually fit are hard to find. They are either too big across the shoulders to fit my belly or just too tight around my belly. These fit and look create and i will buy them again as needed.
