Der Tankring Basic von HEPCO & BECKER ist speziell für die Modelle Kawasaki Versys-X 300 von den Baujahren 2017 bis 2020 entwickelt worden. Dieses Zubehörteil dient zur sicheren und einfachen Befestigung eines entsprechenden Tankrucksacks direkt am Motorrad.

Im Lieferumfang sind der Tankring sowie ein anpassbarer Gegenhalter enthalten, der abhängig von der spezifischen Tankform und dem Lenkereinschlag montiert wird. Die Montage des Tankrings beeinträchtigt nicht die Zugänglichkeit des Tankdeckels, der weiterhin problemlos zu öffnen ist.

Unterschiede zu anderen Tankring-Systemen

Der Basic Tankring funktioniert über eine rein mechanische Verriegelung, im Gegensatz zu den Lock-it Tankringen, die zusätzlich Magnete zur Zentrierung nutzen. Die Basis des Tankrings, ein Metallring, ist bei beiden Varianten identisch.

Es ist zu beachten, dass Tankrucksäcke mit einem Lock-it Gegenhalter nicht mit dem Basic Tankring kompatibel sind und vice versa.
